Lurking in the shadows,
Showing us the way to the edge of the universe,
Guarding the passage of time,
never leaving her post.
She is an angel,
Watching over you and me
Clinging to the darkness,
like a child to it's mother.
Shrouded in mystery,
but known so well
Covering herself with darkness,
but as bright as the sun.
Guiding you to another place
where nothing bad ever happens,
Desolate, full of despair
life has ceased to exist.
Seeing only the stars and
the edge of the universe
through your own two eyes.
